Job Description
S. A. Miro, Inc., a U.S based engineering firm is seeking a Detailing/Revit Engineer with minimum three years of experience for its branch in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The required candidate must have:
-Structural engineering degree (BSc minimum) from a reputable university.
-Ability to understand design drawings and how to develop Rebar Reinforcing Steel shop drawings.
In addition to the above requirements, the following is a plus:
-Experience using Revit Structure in modeling concrete and steel structures and producing design drawings and modeling Rebar Reinforcing Steel shop drawings.
-Experience with ACI codes for design and detailing of structures.
-Good Structural Engineering technical background.
-Experience in the development and revision of Rebar Reinforcing Steel shop drawings.
-AutoCad drafting experience.
-Experience with Design software like RAM, ETABS, and SAFE.
The responsibilities expected:
-Main task is to work on development and revision of Rebar Reinforcing Steel shop drawings using Revit Structures software.
-Assist in preparation of design drawings using Revit structures.
-Assist in analysis and design of structures using RAM, ETABS, SAFE and preparation of structural calculations.
